부모양육태도가 청소년의 신체화 증상에 미치는 영향: 우울의 매개효과

Parental child rearing attitudes and Adolescence’ somatic symptoms: On the Mediating Effects of Depression

본 연구는 부모의 양육태도와 청소년의 신체화 증상과의 관계에서 우울의 매개효 과를 살펴보기 위한 구조모형을 문헌고찰을 바탕으로 제시하고 검증하였다. 이를 위해 한국청소년정책연구원이 수집한 종단적 자료인 한국 아동․청소년 패널조사 (KCYPS) 중 1 패널의 4차년도(2013) 자료 2,056명을 대상으로 부모의 양육태도, 청소년 우울 및 신체화 증상 변인간의 매개효과를 알아보았다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 20.0과 AMOS 20.0으로 통계처리 하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 본 연구의 가설적 모형에 의하면 부모의 부정적 양육태도, 청소년 우울은 청소년의 신체화 증상에 대하여 통계적으로 유의한 직접 효과 및 총 효과를 보였고, 부모의 긍 정적 양육태도 및 부정적 양육태도는 청소년 우울에 직접 및 총 효과가 통계적으로 유의하였으며, 부모의 부정적 양육태도는 청소년 우울을 매개하여 청소년 신체화 증상에 간접 및 총 효과가 통계적으로 유의하였다. 이러한 연구결과는 청소년의 신체화 증상을 예방하고 관리하기 위하여 바람직한 부모의 양육태도 및 청소년 우울 예 방의 중요성을 인식하고, 이와 관련된 중재 프로그램의 필요성을 시사하고 있다.

This study developed a prediction model to investigate the mediating effect of depression on the relationship between parental child rearing attitude and adolescence’ somatic symptoms. The data used in this study was collected by KCYPS(Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey) in 2013 from 2056 participants. Data analysis was conducted with the aid of IBM SPSS 20.0 and AMOS 20.0 on the descriptive statistics, correlations among observed variables, confirmatory factor analysis, the fit-estimation and hypothesis testing of the model. The results are summarized as follows: The direct and overall effects of negative child rearing attitudes and depression were statistically significant on somatic symptoms. The indirect and overall effects of the negative child rearing attitudeswere also statistically significant mediating the depression. The results indicate the importance of the desirable parental rearing and preventing depression to manage the somatic symptoms of adolescence. It can be also suggested that a variety of programs based on the model be subsequently developed.
