This research was to investigate whether the demographic characteristics are significantly related to the computer self-efficacy among elementary school teachers. Data was collected via a survey instrument combined with the computer self-efficacy scale. The computer self-efficacy scale consists of computer use, e-mail use, & WWW use. 207 elementary school teachers participated in this study and the major findings are as follow: There was a significant difference in gender for computer use and WWW use in the computer self-efficacy while e-mail use was not significant. A significant difference was found in the degree of education for computer use among the three sub-factors. Experience of ICT-based instruction, age, and frequency of computer training were significantly related to all three sub-factors of the computer self-efficacy. Development and management of an effective computer training program for teachers was discussed based on the result of this study.
