상담자의 진로소명과 직무만족의 관계: 자기효능감과 직업몰입의 매개효과

Counselor’s Career Calling and Job Satisfaction: Mediated Effects of Self-Efficacy and Occupational Commitment

본 연구는 상담자의 진로소명과 직무만족의 관계에서 자기효능감과 직업몰입의 매개효과를 확인하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 2015년 1월부터 3월까지 상 =담자 209명을 표집하여 진로소명, 자기효능감, 직업몰입, 직무만족에 관한 설문을 실 시하였다. 상관분석 결과, 진로소명, 자기효능감, 직업몰입, 직무만족 간에서 모두 유의한 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 진로소명은 자기효능감, 직업몰입, 직무만족은 모두 유의한 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 자기효능감도 직업몰입과 직 무만족과 유의한 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났고 직업몰입 역시 직무만족과 유의한 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 자기효능감과 직업몰입은 상담자의 진로소명과 직무만족 간에서 유의한 매개효과를 보이는 것으로 확인되었다. 결과적 으로 진로소명과 직업만족 사이에서 자기효능감과 직업몰입이 매개하는 역할을 하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 연구의 결과를 토대로 시사점, 한계 및 제언을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the mediation effect of counselors’ self-efficacy and occupational commitment on the relationships between their career calling and job satisfaction. The questionnaires designed to measure career calling, self-efficacy, occupational commitment and job satisfaction are administered to 209 counselors from January to March in 2015. The results of this article showed significant correlation among career calling, self-efficacy, occupational commitment and job satisfaction. Career calling had a significantly positive relation with the self-efficacy, occupational commitment and job satisfaction. Self-efficacy had a significantly positive relation with the occupational commitment and job satisfaction and occupational commitment had a significantly positive relation with the job satisfaction. Furthermore, the mediation effects of self-efficacy and occupational commitment are significant in the relationship between their career calling and job satisfaction. The findings are considered in terms of the pathways through which career calling may relate to job satisfaction and self-efficacy and occupational commitment. Based on these findings, implications, limitations and directions for future research are discussed.
