중등예비교사들의 교육실습을 통한 음악교사효능감 변화

The Influence of Student-Teaching Experiences on Pre-Service Music Teacher Efficacy

본 연구는 중등예비음악교사들의 교육실습 전-후 음악교사효능감 변화 고찰을 목 적으로 한다. 연구자는 음악교사효능감의 교육적 유용성에 주목하여 예비음악교사들 의 교육실습 경험을 통한 음악교사효능감 변화를 살펴보았다. 연구 문제는 다음과 같 다. 첫째, 중등예비음악교사들의 교육실습 전-후 음악교사효능감은 어떠한 차이를 가 지는가? 둘째, 중등예비음악교사들의 진로계획에 따른 교육실습 전-후의 예비음악교 사효능감은 어떠한 차이를 가지는가? 예비음악교사효능감 실습 전-후의 측정 결과, 교 육실습 반성저널, 심층면담 내용을 분석하여 도출한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교육실 습 기간 동안 예비음악교사들의 효능감은 유의미하게 향상된 것으로 나타났다. 여섯 가지 하위 영역 중 대인관계영역을 제외한 음악교과지도, 생활지도, 자기조절효능감, 과제난이도, 결과기대감의 다섯 가지 영역에서 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 둘째, 교육실 습 전에는 교직을 희망하는 학생들의 효능감이 비교직집단보다 높게 나타났으나, 실습 후 측정 결과에서는 두 집단의 차이가 통계적으로 유의미하지 않은 것으로 밝혀졌다. 예비음악교사교육에 대하여 음악교사효능감 향상을 위한 교육실습의 의의 및 실습저 널의 역할, 예비음악교사들의 진로결정 방식에 대한 시사점을 언급하였다.

This study aimed to explore changes observed in pre-service music teachers’ efficacy as a result of their student-teaching experience. The research questions were as follows: first, how did the pre-service music teachers’ teacher efficacy differ before and after the teaching practicum?; second, how did the pre-service music teachers’ teacher efficacy differ before and after the teaching practicum with respect to their career plan? Forty pre-service music teachers who had experienced a teaching practicum in 2015 participated in the research. The data resources were a pre-service music teaching efficacy scale, reflective journals for teaching practicums, and in-depth interviews. The results were as follows. First, after the student-teaching period, pre-service music teachers’ teaching efficacy was statistically improved. Scores for music teaching, student guidance, self-regulation, task difficulty preference, and outcome expectancy were improved; only the personal relationships score did not improve. Second, before the teaching practicum, teacher track students’ music teacher efficacy score was higher than for non-teacher track students. However, after the teaching practicum period, there were no statistically significant differences between the music teacher efficacy scores of both groups.
