간호학과 진로체험 프로그램이 간호사 이미지와 진로경로에 미치는 영향

Impact of Career Experience Programs for Nursing Science Department on the Images and Career Path of Nurses

연구는 간호학과 진로체험 프로그램이 간호사 이미지와 진로경로에 미치는 영향 을 확인하기 위함이다. 연구방법은 단일 집단 사전-사후 실험설계 연구로 G시 소재 대학의 간호학과의 진로체험을 위해 방문한 고등학생 122명을 연구대상으로 하였 다. 간호학과 진로 체험프로그램은 2014년 교육과학기술부가 제시한 ‘현장 직업체험 프로그램 구성 방법’에 따라 개발하여 진행하였다. 연구결과 진로체험 프로그램 참 가 후 대상자의 간호사 이미지에 차이가 나타났으며(p<.001), 간호학과 진로체험 프 로그램 참여 후 간호사 이미지 점수가 상승하였다. 또한 간호학과 진로체험 프로그 램 참여 후 고등학생들의 진로전환(p<.000), 진로 강화(p<.000), 진로보류(p<.035)에 는 유의한 차이를 보였다. 본 연구는 고등학생들이 간호학과 진로체험을 통해 간호 사에 대한 긍정적 이미지를 가짐으로서 전공학과 및 진로선택에 올바른 선택을 할 수 있는 기회를 제공했다는데 의의가 있다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of career experience programs for nursing science department on the images and career path of nurses. The study targeted 122 high-school students visiting the Department of Nursing Science in G City for career experience based on similarly prepared pre- and posttest design single control group. The career experience program of nursing science department was developed by ‘Onsite Occupation Experience Program Organizing Plan’ proposed by the South Korean Ministry of Education and Science Technology. Test results showed there were significant differences in nurse images of participants after career experience program (p<. 001). After participating career experience program, there were differences in career switch (p<. 000), career strengthening (p<. 000), and career reservation (p<. 035), The study is meaningful in having provided an opportunity for high-school students to have proper images of nurses through nurse science department career experience programs so that they can choose major and career path properly.
