청소년 지역사회교육의 새로운 모형

A New Model Study on Community Education for Youth: Focused on the Junior Ambassador School of Siheung City

이 연구의 목적은 청소년을 위한 지역사회교육에 유용한 시사점을 탐색하는 것이다. 이를 위해 청소년을 위한 지역사회교육의 새로운 모형으로 “시흥시차세대외교관학교”를 사례로 제시하였다. 연구자는 사업추진 관계자로서 신뢰할 만한 자료를 지속적으로 누적해 왔다. 이 연구에서 활용된 자료는 사업에서 활용되었던 회의록, 공식문서, 각종 계획서 및 평가보고서 등 이다. 사례를 통한 논의의 결과, 청소년의 지역사회교육을 위한 시사점은 2가지 측면으로 제시되었다. 첫째, 지역사회적 측면 에서는 1) 공동체와 구성원 간의 합의된 교육목적, 2) 지역 내 자원의 구조적 연계, 3) 교육성과의 지역적 공유에 대한 필요성이 시사점으로 도출되었다. 둘째, 교육방법적 측면에서는 1) 체험을 통한 경험학습, 2) 주기집중교육 형태의 진행, 3) 놀이를 통한 학습, 4) 협력적 동료관계 형성에 대한 시사점이 도출되었다.

The purpose of this study is to explore the useful implications on the community education for youth. In this study, the Junior Ambassador School of Siheung City was presented as the new model of community education for youth. It was easy to get the reliable data because the researcher has been involved in the model. This paper examines about the minutes, the official documents and the plans etc.. This study suggests, the following two aspect implications for the model. First, in the community education aspect: 1) the agreed purposes for a community and members of the community, 2) the structured cooperation of resources in a community, 3) the community sharing of the educational results. Second, in the educational method aspect: 1) Learning through experience, 2) concentrated periodic learning, 3) learning through play, 4) making friends as a supporter.
