예비초등교사의 좋은 체육 수업을 위한 교과영역 이해와 수업방법에 대한 인식

Prospective Elementary School Teachers Understanding of Subject Domains and Recognition of Teaching Methods for a Great Physical Education

이 연구의 목적은 예비초등교사의 좋은 체육 수업을 위한 교과영역의 이해와 수 업방법에 대한 인식을 총체적으로 분석하는데 있었다. 이러한 연구목적을 위하여 충 북지역에 위치한 교육대학교 4학년에 재학중인 예비초등교사 6명을 대상으로 질적 연구를 수행하였다. 심층면담과 문서자료를 통해 수집한 자료는 Spradley(1980)의 영역분석과 분류분석을 수행하였다. 자료의 수집 및 분석과정에서 연구의 진실성과 윤리성을 확인하였다. 이 연구에서 수집된 자료를 분석 및 해석한 결과는 다음과 같 다. 첫째, 예비초등교사가 인식하는 체육교과 대영역에 대한 이해는 다음과 같다. 건 강과 체력향상에 관한 지식 및 기능 함양을 위한 건강활동, 교사의 시범과 지도를 통 하여 운동의 기능과 전략을 습득하는 수준별 도전활동, 스포츠 활동과 함께하는 정 의롭고 즐거운 경쟁활동, 다양하고 창의적인 신체움직임의 표현활동, 행복한 삶을 만들어가는 여가활동이다. 둘째, 예비초등교사들이 바라는 좋은 체육 수업을 위한 수업운영 방법은 스포츠문화를 즐기는 체육수업, 타 교과와의 연계를 통한 통합적이 고 유연한 체육수업, 다양한 영상매체를 활용한 즐거운 체육수업, 평생체육의 기반 을 다지는 체육수업이다.

The purpose of this study is to holistically analyze prospective elementary school teachers understanding of subject domains and recognition of teaching method for a great physical education. For this purpose, this study conducted a qualitative research on 6 prospective elementary school teachers attending a 4-year university of education located in Chungbuk-province. Spradley s (1980) domain analysis and classification analysis were conducted on the data collected through in-depth interviews and document materials. Research integrity and ethicality were confirmed during the process of data collection and analysis. The results of analysis and interpretation on the collected data in this study are as follows; first, prospective elementary teachers understanding on large domains of physical education curriculum (health, challenge, competition, expression, leisure) was healthful activities to enhance knowledge and function of health and physical strength, level-based challenge activities to acquire functions and strategies of exercise through teacher s demonstration and guidance, righteous and joyful competition with sports activities, various and creative expression activities of body and leisure activities which make happy life. Second, class operation methods, or teaching methods, which prospective elementary school teachers desire for a great physical education classes were physical education to enjoy sports culture, holistic and flexible physical education in connection with other subjects, happy physical education utilizing various video media and physical education which lays foundation for life-long physical education.
