내러티브 기반의 문학 교수-학습 요소 및 수업모형 고찰

A study on element of the narrative-based literature teaching and learning and model

본 연구의 목적은 내러티브에 기반을 둔 문학교육의 주체, 내용, 방법, 목표 등의 요소를 살피고, 구체적 수업모형을 도출해 내는 것이다. 이를 위해 내러티브의 본질 과 특징을 잘 보여주는 <천일야화>를 중심으로 분석을 시도하였다. 문학교육에서 내러티브의 본질 회복은 국어교육의 본질을 되찾고, 학습자가 자신의 생각과 삶의 이야기를 생성해 내는 학습주도권의 복권이라는데 의의를 지닌다. 문학교육에서 내러티브는 내용으로서의 ‘작품의 이야기’, 방법으로서의 ‘이야기 나누기’, 목표로서의 ‘이야기 생성하기’ 등의 층위를 지닌다. 내러티브 기반 문학교육 이란 학습자가 ‘이야기 생성하기’의 목표를 위해서 ‘작품의 이야기’를 능동적으로 이 해하고, ‘이야기 나누기’를 통해 문학과 자신의 경험이 교차하는 지점에서 이야기를 생산하는 전(全)과정을 의미한다. <천일야화>는 내러티브를 전면에 내세워 인간의 삶에서 내러티브가 지니는 의미 와 학교교육장면의 교수-학습상황에서 내러티브의 활용가능성과 필요성을 잘 보여 주고 있다. 문학교육은 학습경험의 주체가 내면화과정을 통해 작품을 이해하고, 자 신만의 내러티브를 생산해내는 지적 탁월성을 회복해야 한다.

The purpose of this article is to extract authentic narrative-based literature education model which have instructional 4 factors, that is, subject, content, method, goal for literature education in schooling by analysing The Arabian Nights . Recovery for nature of narrative is restoration of authentic literature education in schooling as well as learning initiative by which learner making his own idea and life story. In literature education, narrative has multi-dimensional meanings and classes. they are a story functioned as subject and content, story activity as method and also making ability of his own story as performance(ends). In general, narrative-based literature education in instructional design focuses whole process on learner s positive understanding to a story itself functioned instructional subject, value internalization on a story through story-centered activity in classroom, lastly learning experience for making his own story . The Arabian Nights which analysed in this study reveal the meaning of narrative in one s life as well as the necessity and possibility of narrative-based literature education in schooling. In this respect, the goal of literature education in schooling is the understanding not on object for analysis but on learner s self-integration, on the basis of this work, we must recovery intellectual excellence which making his s own story.
