초등학교 홈페이지 학교장 인사말에 나타난 학교경영관의 특징 분석

Analysis on the Features of Principal’s Management view for Principal greetings of School homepage

이 연구는 초등학교 홈페이지 학교장 인사말을 대상으로 네트워크 텍스트 분석 (Network text analysis)을 통해 학교장이 가지고 있는 학교경영관의 특징을 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구 대상은 규모가 비슷한 두 광역시의 초등학교 전체(296 개교)로, 2014년 2월을 기준으로 학교 홈페이지의 학교장 인사말을 선정하였다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학교장은 학교의 주된 목적을 학생의 ‘교육’ 에 두고 있었다. 전체적으로 볼 때 학업 및 능력보다는 인성교육에 중점을 두었으나 지역에 따라 어떠한 교육을 중점으로 하는가는 다소 차이를 보였다. 둘째, 학교장이 학교 경영을 통해 이루고자 하는 교육목표는 ‘꿈’, ‘사랑’, ‘행복’과 같이 다소 추상적인 단어로 표현되어 있었고, 이는 목표를 장기적으로 보는 교육의 특징에 따른 영향으로 보인다. 셋째, 학교장의 학교 경영은 ‘교육가족’, ‘교육공동체’라는 표현을 통해 공동체 인식이 반영되어 있음을 알 수 있었다. 또한 다양한 교육주체와의 ‘참여’, ‘소통’을 중요시하는 특징을 보였다. 넷째, 일부 학교장은 ‘경영’과 ‘민주’, ‘투명’, ‘책임’의 관계를 통해 학교장이 가진 학교경영관에 대한 인식을, 또한 ‘교장’과 ‘경영’, ‘책임’, ‘지원’의 관계를 통해 학교장의 역할에 대한 학교장의 인식을 엿볼 수 있었다. 이 연구는 학교장 학교경영관의 특징을 분석하는데 있어 네트워크 텍스트 분석을 새롭게 적용하였다는 점과 두 광역시의 공통점과 차이점을 확인하였다는 점에 의의가 있다

This study aims to analyze the features of principal’s management attitude that appears at principal greetings of school homepage using the term frequency analysis and the network text analysis. Research materials are principal greetings of elementary school homepage in two similar sized metropolitan cities in 2013. To accomplish them, the study questions to design follows: First, what are the features of the principal’s management view shown school principal’s greeting? Second, what is the relationship between the features of the principal’s management view and the city educational goal? The main results are as follows. First, many principals tended to aim at student education and regard personality education as important. However, varying in different localities shows distinction that what kind of education is focused on. Second, many principals tended to express their education goal as abstract words, for example ‘dream , ‘love and ‘happiness’. It seems that education goal is usually considered as long term point of view. Third, many principals understand sense of community and this tendency is shown by expressions such as ‘education family and ‘education community . They also put emphasis on ‘participation and ‘communication with other education parties concerned. Fourth, a few principals tended to recognize principal’s management view and we could infer through relationships between ‘management and ‘democracy , ‘transparency , ‘responsibility . And a few other principals tended to recognize the role of principal and this tendency is shown by relations between ‘principal and ‘management , ‘responsibility , ‘support . Finally, the features of principal’s management view derived from principal greetings of school homepage have some correlation with the city educational goals. In particular case of A metropolitan city, the features of principal’s management view have close correlation with main education goal and three specifics of goals. This study has meaning that adapting network text analysis to investigate the features of principal s management view and verifying commonalities and differences between two metropolitan cities.
