초등학교 저학년 안전교육 프로그램 개발 및 평가

The Development of the safety education program for early grade-schoolers in Elementary school

이 연구는 초등학교 저학년 학생들의 안전 생활 습관 및 대처 능력 향상을 위한 안전교육 프로그램을 개발하는 목적으로 수행되었다. 초등학교 저학년 안전교육 프 로그램은 안전교육 7대 영역 표준안에 근거하여 개발되었으며, 초등학교 저학년인 1 학년을 대상으로 수업에 적용하였고 현장 교사의 평가를 거쳐 프로그램을 수정・보 완한 후 타당도를 검증하였다. 초등학교 저학년 안전교육 프로그램의 개발 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 개발된 프로그램은 저학년 안전 교육프로그램의 목표, 학습 내용, 교수․학습 과정안, 교수․학습 도움자료 등으로 구성한 12차시 분량으로 구성되었 다. 둘째, 개발된 프로그램의 내용은 안전교육 7대 영역 표준안에 따른 추출된 지도 요소를 바탕으로 저학년 안전교육에 관련성이 많은 교통안전, 생활안전, 재난안전, 폭력 및 신변안전에 관한 영역을 중심으로 하였으며, 주제, 학습내용, 차시별 계획 등 체계적으로 제시하였다. 셋째, 개발된 프로그램에는 학생의 흥미와 학습 경험을 고려한 교수․학습 방법으로 역할극을 활용하였다. 향후 연구에서는 안전 교육의 활 성화를 위해서 현장 요구를 바탕으로 학생의 발달 단계와 각 교과의 특성을 고려한 체계적인 안전교육 프로그램을 지속적으로 개발하여 적용할 필요가 있다고 제언하 였다.

The purpose of this study was to improve the formation of the usual safety habits in the lower grades in elementary school, to develop the systematic safety education program related to the seven categories in accordance with standard plan of safety education, and to achieve the objectives of the study through the evaluation of field teacher’s application to modify the program of early elementary school students safety habits. The results of the field application were as follows: First, it included safety education program’s goals, learning contents, teaching learning process and teaching & learning materials. These program was performed through twelve classes. Second, it was systematically established with subjects, contents and plans of class based upon traffic safety, school life safety, violence and personal safety, and disaster safety education in accordance with the seven areas standard proposal of safety education. Third, developed program was utilized for teaching-learning method considered students interest and learning experience. According to the results described in this research, many other aspects and issues were suggested for further research. There was expected to develop and apply the systematic safety education program for elementary students for invigoration of safety education based upon field requirements considering the developmental stage of students and the characteristics of each curriculum.
