중·고등학교 운동선수의 사회적 지지가 문제해결 능력에 미치는 영향

The Effect of Middle․High School Athletes’ Social Support on Problem Solving Ability

본 연구는 중․고등학교 운동선수의 사회적 지지와 사회적 문제해결 능력과의 관 계를 규명하기 위하여 인구통계학적 변인에 따른 사회적 지지와 문제해결 능력을 알 아보고, 사회적 지지에 따른 사회적 문제해결 능력의 정도를 측정하여 그 차이를 조 사 분석함으로써 중․고등학교 운동선수의 올바른 가치관 형성과 지도 육성에 기초 자료를 제공하고자 한다. 이러한 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 C도와 D광역시에 거주하고 있는 중․고등 학교 운동선수를 모집단으로 설정하고 비확률적 표본추출방법의 하나인 할당표집으 로 350명을 표집 하였다. 설문지의 타당성 확보를 위해 탐색적 요인분석(exploratory factor analysis: EFA)을 이용하여 타당도 검사를 실시하였고, 수집된 자료는 SPSS 18.0 통계 프로그램을 이용하여 t-test, 일원분산분석, 상관관계분석, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 인구통계학적 특성에 따른 중․고등학교 운동선수의 사회적 지지에 서 성별, 학교급별, 운동경력, 경기유형, 입상실적에서 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 인구통계 학적 특성에 따른 중․고등학교 운동선수의 문제해결 능력에서 학교급별, 운동경력, 경 기유형, 입상실적에서 차이가 나타났다. 셋째, 사회적 지지에 따라 문제해결 능력에 영 향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 평가적 지지는 문제해결 능력의 3개요인 모두에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 정보적, 물질적 지지는 인지, 행동척도에 영향을 미치는 것으 로 나타났으며 정서적 지지는 인지 척도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

This study classified the social support into emotional, evaluative, informative and material support and the problem-solving ability into cognition scale, emotional scale and behavior scale in order to identify the relations between social support and problem-solving ability. Based on this, this study is aimed at providing basic material for the formation of correct value system and fostering of middle and high school athletes by investigating the social support and problem-solving ability according to demographic variables and measuring the degree of social problem-solving capacity in accordance with social support. To achieve the goal, a population was set with middle and high school athletes in C Province, D City. Among them, 350 students were selected in quota sampling which is one of Non-Probability Sampling Methods. The statistical methods used for this study are exploratory factor analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Correlation Analysis and Multiple Linear Regression by the use of SPSS 18.0 statistics program. The conclusion of this study are as follows: First, It was investigated that the factors affecting social support of middle and high school athletes according to demographic characterization were gender, school grade, exercise period, game type, winning a prize performance. Second, It was investigated that the factors affecting problem-solving ability of middle and high school athletes according to demographic characterization were school grade, exercise period, game type, winning a prize performance. Third, social support made the significant impact on the formation of problem-solving ability. It was identified that evaluative support influenced all three variables of problem-solving ability. It was found that the informative support and material support influenced cognition scale and behavior scale. In addition, it was investigated that emotional support influenced cognition scale.
