인성교육에 관한 국내 연구동향 및 과제

Trends and Tasks of Character Education Studies in Korea

본 연구의 목적은 1996년에서 2015년까지 20년 동안 국내에서 수행되어온 인성교육 관련 연구들의 전반적인 동향을 살펴봄으로써 향후 국내 인성교육의 연구 방향과 실천적 과제를 모색하는 것이다. 이를 위해 국내에서 발표된 인성교육 관련 학위논문과 학술지논문 총 88편을 선정하여, 연구주제 및 연구방법에 따라 연구동향을 분석하였다. 분석결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 인성교육 관련 연구들은 대부분 문헌연구 방법으로 수행되었다. 둘째, 최근 인성교육은 역량을 포함하는 개념으로, 그리고 관계성을 강조하는 방향으로 변화되고 있다. 셋째, 인성교육 실천에 있어서 교사의 역할이 강조되고 있다. 인성교육에 관한 향후 연구 과제로는 시대적, 사회적 변화에 적합한 인성교육의 필요성, 교사를 위한 교육, 지원, 연구의 필요성, 인성교육 내용의 개인적 측면과 관계적 측면의 조화, 그리고 학교 현장에서의 인성교육 실천에 관한 연구의 필요성을 제안하였다.

The purpose of this study is review the trends of character education studies in Korea from 1996 to 2015. For the analysis, the research themes and research methods are examined using 88 research papers on character education in Korea, and future research directions and tasks were suggested. The results of the study can be summarized as follows: First, most research papers about character education showed that the literature method. Second, recently character education is changing the concept including the competence, and the relationship to emphasize direction. Third, the role of the teacher has been emphasized in the character education practice. For the future research, the following topics are recommended: the need for character education that is suitable for times and social change, the need for education, support, research for teachers, Harmonization of personal side and relations aspects of the character educational content, and the need for research on the character education practice in school.
