단위학교에서의 민주적 의사결정참여가 교사 협력, 수업 개선 활동 및 교사 효능감에 미치는 영향

Democratic Participation Decision-making in School Impact on The Partnership of Teachers,Instructional Improvement Activities and the Efficacy

본 연구는 경기도교육연구원(GEPS)이 제공하는 경기종단연구 3차년(2014)도 자료를 사용하여 경기도내 초, 중등학교 교사 총 2,185명을 대상으로 단위 학교 민주적 의사결정 참여가 교사 협력, 수업개선활동 및 교사 효능감에 미치는 영향에 대해 4개월간 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 경기도 초중등학교 교사들의 의사결정 참여가 교사 효능감에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 민주적 의사결정 참여는 수업개선활동에 유의미한 영향을 미치지만 교사 협력에는 유의미한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 교사협력은 수업개선활동에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤다. 즉 교사 협력을 통해 구체적인 수업개선을 위한 실천적인 활동으로 이어진다고 할 수 있다. 넷째, 교사협력과 수업개선활동은 교사 효능감에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 초등교사와 중등교사 두 집단 간 경로계수는 학교 급에 따라 유의미한 차이를 나타내지 않았다. 이러한 결과를 통해 민주적 의사결정 참여가 교사의 수업개선활동, 교사 효능감에 영향을 준다는 것을 알 수 있다.

The Impact of Democratic Decision-making Participation in Individual School on Teacher Cooperation, Instruction Improvement Activities and Teacher Efficacy This study targeted 2,185 teachers in elementary and secondary schools in Gyeonggi province using the data(2014) provided by GEPS. It analyzed the data by using structural equational modeling to identify the impact of democratic decision-making participation in individual school on teacher cooperation, instructional improvement, and teacher efficacy. The results are as follows: First, decision-making participation of Gyeonggi province teachers has significant impact on teacher efficacy. Second, democratic decision-making participation has significant impact on instructional improvement activities, not on teacher cooperation. Third, teacher cooperation has significant impact on instructional improvement activities. That means, teacher cooperation causes teachers to improve their class in practical way. Fourth, teacher cooperation and instructional improvement activities has significant impact on teacher efficacy. Fifth, the path-coefficient between elementary teacher group and secondary teacher group does not show significant difference. Through the study result of democratic decision-making participation, it can be concluded that democratic decision-making participation has impact on teachers instructional improvement activities, teacher efficacy.
