교육실습 경험과 교수내용지식(PCK)에 대한 예비중등음악교사의 인식 조사

A Study on Pre-service Secondary Music Teachers Perception of Teaching Practicum Experience and Pedagogical Content Knowledge

본 연구의 목적은 예비중등음악교사들의 교육실습 경험과 이와 관련된 교수내용 지식(PCK)의 요인들에 대한 인식을 조사하여 향후 교육실습 사전교육 등에 도움 을 주는 것이다. 이를 위하여 본 연구에서는 교생실습을 다녀온 예비음악교사 8명을 대상으로 포커스그룹 인터뷰를 수행하였으며 보충자료로 17명의 교육실습일지를 수 집하여 분석하였다. 연구결과, 예비음악교사들은 한 달간의 교육실습이 자신의 교수 내용지식 향상에 도움이 되었다고 인식하고 있었다. 또한 예비교사들은 교육실습을 통하여 교수내용지식의 하위요인 중 교육학지식, 상황이해지식, 학생이해지식과 연 관성이 있는 경험을 한 것으로 인식하였다. 예비음악교사들은 교과내용지식에 해당 되는 악기연주 능력과 컴퓨터 활용 능력, 교과서의 심층적 이해 면에서 부족함을 느 꼈으며 교사의 리더쉽과 연관된 교육학지식에 부족함을 느낀 것으로 나타났다

The purpose of this study is to investigate pre-service music teachers perception of their teaching practicum experience and pedagogical content knowledge. This study also aims to provide the fundamental information for pre-education for more effective teaching practicum. In this study, focus group interview and analysis of teaching practicum journal were conducted. The results indicated that pre-service music teachers perceived that the experience of teaching practicum was helpful for improvement of their pedagogical content knowledge. The participants perceived that they experienced pedagogical knowledge, school situation-understanding knowledge, and student-understanding knowledge through teaching practicum experience. The results also indicated that pre-service music teachers recognized their lack of PCK in profound understanding of music content and context, performance abilities of various instruments, and leadership that enables students to pay attention in the class.
