Structural Relationships between The Variables of Elementary School Students’ Intention of Accepting Digital Textbooks

초등학생들의 디지털교과서 수용의도와 관련영향변인간의 구조적 관계분석

본 연구는 초등학교환경에서 디지털교과서를 수용하는데 영향을 미치는 변인을 탐색 하고 사용의도를 증가시키기 위한 정보와 자원을 제공하기 위함이다. 연구목적에 기초하여 Google Docs를 이용하여 디지털교과서를 사용하고 있는 초등학생을 무선선정하여 2013년 가을에 1개월 동안 설문을 실시하였다. 본 연구에서 이전의 연구로부터 측정 도구를 채택하였으며, 디지털교과서의 자기효용감, 주관적기준, 관찰력, 인지된 사용용 이성, 인지된유용성, 사용의도를 측정하였다. 연구자는 모형 오류를 피하기 위해 묶음지표를 사용하고, AMOS통계프로그램을 사용하였다. 연구결과에 따르면, 첫째 관찰력과 디지털교과서 자기효용감이 사용용이성에 영향을 주었다. 둘째, 디지털교과서를 사용하는데 있어 관찰력을 제외하고 효용감, 주관적 기준, 관찰력, 인지된 사용용이성, 그리고 인지된 유용성은 유의한 영향을 미치지 못했다. 셋째, 초등학생의 인지된 유용성과 인지된 사용용이성은 선행연구결과와 유사하게 사용의도에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다.

The purpose of this study was to explore the variables affecting the acceptance of digital textbooks in an elementary school environment, and provide the basic information and resources to increase usage intention. Based on these research purposes, we conducted surveys by using Google Docs, targeting randomly selected elementary school students using digital textbooks for a month in the fall semester of 2013. For this study, we measured digital textbook self-efficacy, subjective norms, observability, perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and intention to use. The research results were as follows: first, observability and digital textbook self-efficacy affected the perceived ease of use. Second, the results of the effects of efficacy in using digital textbooks, subjective norms, observability, and perceived ease of use on perceived usefulness, in addition to digital textbook self-efficacy, subjective norms, and perceived ease of use on perceived usefulness, except observability, did not yield significant effects. Third, elementary school students’ perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use significantly affected the intention to use, which are results similar to those obtained in previous studies.
