협동학습을 적용한 간호학개론 수업에서 학습자 수업기대, 수업참여가 수업만족도에 미치는 영향

The effects of learners’ class expectancy and class participation on class satisfaction in cooperative learning based 「Introduction to Nursing Science」

본 연구는 ‘간호학개론’ 수업에 협동학습을 적용하여 운영한 후 본 수업에 참여한 학생들의 수업기대가 수업참여를 매개로 수업만족도에 영향을 주는지를 확인하고자 함에 목적이 있다. 이는 ‘간호학개론’ 교과목이 신입생이 처음 접하는 전공 필수 교 과목으로 협동학습을 통해 학습자들이 전공교과에 대한 관심과 기대를 갖고 적극적 인 수업참여를 함으로써 학습과제를 해결하는 과정 속에서 학생들 간의 소속감 및 연대의식이 향상되고 수업에 대한 몰입과 성취감을 경험함으로써 수업에 대한 만족 감에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는지 경험적으로 살펴보고자 함이었다. 이에 따른 연구결 과는 다음과 같다. 협동학습에 참여한 학생들의 수업기대, 수업참여, 수업만족도는 유의미한 상관관계가 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 협동학습에 참여한 학습자의 수업기 대가 수업참여를 매개로 수업만족도에 영향을 미치는 구조적 모형이 적합함을 확인 하였다. 이상의 연구결과를 바탕으로 본 연구는 협동학습을 통한 수업참여에 대한 시사점을 제시하였다.

This study has the purpose to identify the structural relationship between learners’ class expectancy and class satisfaction mediated class participation after applying cooperative learning focused on ‘introduction to nursing science’ course. Present study was to examine empirically that learners would have interests and expectancy in the major subject and participate actively in the class, and it could make them improve a sense of belonging and solidarity among learners during solving task and experience flow and a sense of achievement in the class, and it would give positive effects on class satisfaction through applying cooperative learning to ‘introduction to nursing science’ as one of the required courses for freshman majoring in nursing on their first semester. The results are as follows. This study identified the significant correlations among class expectancy, class participation, and class satisfaction of learners participated in cooperative learning. We constructed a structural model which class expectancy of learners participated in cooperative learning affects class satisfaction mediated with class satisfaction and the model fit indices for the hypothetical model were suitable for the recommended level. This study gives a few suggestions about class participation through cooperative learning according to these results.
