학교기반 학습컨설팅 프로그램이 초등학생의 학습전략에 미치는 효과

The Effects of the School-based Learning Consulting Program(SLCP) on Learning Strategies of Elementary School Students

본 연구의 목적은 학교기반 학습컨설팅 프로그램이 초등학생의 학습전략에 미치는 효과를 검증하는 것이다. B초등학교 4, 5학년 30명(실험집단 15명, 비교집단 15명)을 대상으로 2013년 4월부터 11월까지 방학기간을 제외하고 총 20회기(40차시) 방과 후 학교기반 학습컨설팅 프로그램을 실시하였다. 본 연구에서는 학습전략 검사를 사전ㆍ사후에 실시하여 공변량분석(ANCOVA)을 통해 효과정도를 살펴보았다. 그 결과 실험집단과 비교집단의 학습전략에 유의한 차이가 있었다. 이를 통해 학교기반 학습컨설팅 프로그램은 초등학생의 학습전략 능력 향상에 효과가 있음을 확인하였다. 연구결과를 토대로 학교 프로그램 운영 시 교사와의 협력의 중요성에 대해 논의하였다.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of the School-based Learning Consulting Program(SLCP) on the learning strategies of elementary school students. This study was conducted with a pre-and-post test experimental design. The participants were 30 students (8 fourth and 22 fifth grade) from B elementary school in Busan, Among them, 15 students were the experiment group and 15 students were the comparison group. The SLCP was conducted in a classroom after school every Thursday for 20 sessions except summer vacation for one year. Assessment of Learning Strategies for Adolescents(ALSA) was administrated to all the participants during pre-and post-test. To analyze the data, the analysis of covariance(ANCOVA) was adopted. The result of this study was as follows: The experimental group who participated in the SLCP showed significantly higher improvement in Learning Strategies than the comparison group. In conclusion, the SLCP had positive effect on the learning strategies of elementary school students. Discussions were followed to emphasize the importance of cooperating with teachers in conducting programs at schools.
