간호대학생의 노인인권침해 지각에 관한 연구

A Study on the Nursing Students’ Perception of Elderly Human Rights Violation

본 연구는 간호대학생의 노인인권침해 지각 실태를 파악하고자 실시되었다. 연구대상자는 일 간호대학생 506명이었으며, 자료 수집기간은 2017년 11월 6일부터 17일까지이었다. 연구 결과 간호대학생의 노인인권침해에 대한 지각은 4점 만점에 전체 평균이 3.07점이었고, 각 영역별로 방임적 2.58점, 자기 방임적 2.36점, 정서적 3.02점, 재정적 3.75점, 신체적 3.78점, 성적 3.12점이었다. 본 연구에서 노인인권침해 지각에 유의한 차이를 보인 대상자의 일반적인 특성은 성별, 연령, 학년, 자원봉사경험, 노인문제에 대한 관심으로 나타났다. 또한 대상자의 노인인권침해 관련 특성 중 노인인권침해 지각에 유의한 차이를 보인 특성은 사회의 노인존중에 대한 생각, 노인존재에 대한 부담, 노인인권침해 심각성, 노인인권침해 행위자, 노인인권침해 발생원인, 노인인권침해 문제해결 방법이었다. 본 연구 결과는 간호대학생의 노인인권인지 및 인권침해 예방 교육 프로그램을 개발하는데 기초 자료로 활용할 수 있을 것으로 생각한다.

This study was conducted to investigate the level of nursing students’ perception of elderly human rights violation(HRV). The data were collected by 506 nursing students using self-questionnaire from November 6th to 17th of 2017. As a result of this study, the nursing students’ perception score on elderly HRV was 3.07 points(range 0～4). When it was divided into sub-categories, perception score on neglected HRV was 2.58 points, self-neglected HRV was 2.36 points, emotional HRV was 3.02 points, financial HRV was 3.75 points, physical HRV was 3.78 points, sexual HRV was 3.12 points. Significant differences were found in perception of elderly HRV according to sex, age, school year, volunteer experience, the interest about problems of the aged, opinion about respect elderly, severity of elderly HRV and cause of its occurrence et al. Consequently, these results will help develop nursing education program to strengthen nursing students’ perception on elderly human rights and prevent elderly HRV
