체험적 운동장-장소성에 관한 의미 연구

Study of the Meaning of Experiential Playground-Placeness

본 연구는 체험적 장소인 운동장-장소성이 갖는 존재론적 의미를 밝히는데 목적을 두고 ‘살아있는 장소(lived place)’적 맥락에서 운동장 장소성에 대한 해석이 시도되었다. 연구 방법론으로는 문헌연구로서 Yi-Fu Tuan과 Edward Relph의 장소 이 론에 근거, 현상학적 지리학을 논의의 해석적 지표로 삼았다. 체험적 운동장-장소성에 대한 의미연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 체험적 운동장-장소성은 고정된 산물이 아닌 신체 표현의 장소로서 다양한 감성적 공간을 가진다. 둘째, 체험적 운동장-장소성은 경험의 총체성을 지닌 장소로서 인간 본질의 실현인 정체성 즉, ‘뿌리내림(rootedness) 에 기반을 둔 장소라 볼 수 있다. 셋째, 운동장-장소성에 대한 진정성은 ‘몸으로 살기’가 무엇인지 그 내밀함을 드러내는데 있다. 이러한 맥락에서 본 연구의 논점은 운동장-장소성이 갖는 실존적 의미는 단순히 지리적 위치에 의해 규정된 장소성이 아닌 ‘세계-내-존재(in-der-welt-sein) 즉 신체와 장소가 엮인 신체=운동장으로써 이해될 수 있다.

This study aimed to determine the existential meaning of playground-sense of place, and attempted to interpret playground-sense of place in a lived place context. As a research methodology, it set phenomenological geography as an interpretable barometer of discussion based on place theories of Yi-Fu Tuan and Edward Relph as literature research. The results of meaning research on experiential playground-sense of place are as follows: First, experiential playground-sense of place has various emotional spaces as a place of body expression and not a fixed product. Second, it can be seen that experiential playground-sense of place is based on identity which is the realization of human nature, that is, rootedness as a place with totality of experience. Third, the truth of playground-sense of place is to reveal the secrecy of what live with one s body is. As the point of the study in this context, the existential meaning of playground-sense of place can be understood as in-der-welt-sein, that is, body=playground woven with body and place and not sense of place simply defined by a geographical position.
