A study of Epistemological Theory in Kant s Transcendental Philosophy

본 논문은 Kant의 선험철학에서 다루고 있는 인식론의 성격을 밝히는 데 연구의 목적을 두었다. Kant의 「순수이성비판」은 인식이란 무엇인가라는 문제에 대한 해답을 새로운 형이상학을 통해 발견하려는 내용으로 구성되어 있다. Kant는 넓은 의 미에서 사고 능력을 이성이라고 불렀으며, 순수이성의 순수라는 것은 경험에 의존하지 않는다는 의미이다. 이러한 관점에서 Kant는 순수이성을 비판적으로 검증하여 새로운 형이상학적 방법을 확립하려 하였다. Kant에 의하면, 과학적 지식이란 보편 성과 필연성을 내포한 아 프리오리(a priori)적인 종합적 판단을 원리로 함으로써 성립된다는 것을 「순수이성비판」에서 밝혀내려 하였다

The purpose of this study is placed on the exploration of epistemological characteristics in Kant s transcendental philosophy. 「Critique of Pure Reason」is consists of the contents that apparently dealing with the cognitive powers of reason as a principal determinant to find out the way of reaching knowledge. In its generic sense, the term reason is intended to cover the intellect as a whole. And Kant is particularly concerned with the capacities of pure reason when operating by itself and not in association with another experience. Kant saw that there are spheres in which it is plausible to claim that pure reason is a source of new metaphysics. Accordingly, synthetic a priori judgement serves as criteria that contain the laws of logic explaining the characteristics of necessity and universality.
