자기 점검 전략을 활용한 시 읽기 방법

A Study on Poetry-Reading Method utilizing Self-Monitoring Strategy

본고에서는 시 감상에서 자기 점검 전략의 중요성을 강조하고 이를 교육의 장에 서 실제 적용하기 위한 방안으로 ‘이질적 요소에 대한 초점화 전략’과 ‘자기 사고와 정서에 대한 다층적 집중화 전략’을 교육 요소로 제안하였다. 이러한 제안은 시 읽기 과정에서 독자가 직면하게 되는 문제적 상황이나 이질적 요소를 효과적으로 진단하 고 이를 해결해 나가기 위한 전략으로 기능할 것으로 기대하며, 감상의 과정 중에서 활성화되는 다양한 사고와 정서 중에서 시 감상의 목표를 성취하기 위해 독자 나름 대로의 판단 기준과 방식에 따라 자기 인식에 주목하고자 하는 행위의 중요성을 부 각시키고자 한 것이다. 시 감상을 통해 독자가 즐거움을 느끼고 자기 삶으로 내면화 하기 위해서는 작품을 독자 자신의 방식으로 읽어 나갈 수 있는 힘을 기르는 것이 급선무이다. 따라서 시 텍스트에서 독자가 발견하게 되는 이질적 요소에 주목하고 자기 주도적인 반성적 재조직화라는 자기 점검 전략을 활용하며, 다양한 자기 사고 나 정서 중에서 감상을 위해 필요한 사항들에 집중화하는 전략을 통해 시 감상의 주 체로 성장해 나갈 수 있을 것으로 본다.

This study observed the importance of a self-monitoring strategy in reading poems and intended to inquire into its application plans. This study, in an effort to put emphasis on coming up with direct poem-reading methods that could revitalize meta-cognition for the purpose of stressing reading spontaneity, intended to underline, as a part of it, that the point that a reader s spontaneous self-monitoring strategy could be effective in appreciation of poetry. This study put its focus on the point that very significant is the self-monitoring strategy as a spontaneous ability that can regulate and lead diverse thinking which could be aroused in the process of reading poems at a more essential level rather than fragmentary listing of elements in a self-monitoring strategy that could be utilized in reading poems. This study set up perception of self-thinking process and expression and analysis of the thinking process as the educational elements for raising efficiency in poetry reading by emphasizing a self-monitoring strategy, and suggested the possibility for these individual elements to be performed in a practical phase through the detailed process of stopping, reminiscing, perceiving , and concentrating on self-thinking, selecting expression medium, expressing and leaving output. This study thinks that this study-suggested poetry-reading strategy will be a useful method in that this strategy helps a reader spontaneously tries to look for a solution to poetry appreciation by controlling the perception & regulation of self-thinking and its developmental process.
