다문화교육박물관 활용 타문화이해교육 프로그램 개발 방안

A Study on Development of Educational Programfor Other Culture Understanding in Museum for Multicultural Education

연구는 일종의 정책 연구로서, 최근 교원양성대학에 설치되고 있는 다문화교육 관(원)에서 적용하게 될 타문화이해교육 프로그램 개발 방안을 탐색․제안하는데 연구의 목적을 두고 있다. 이러한 연구 목적을 달성하기 위하여 본 논문에서는 다음과 같은 내용을 다루었다. 제 2장에서는 다문화교육과 박물관교육에 관한 이론적 배경을 다루었다. 특히 박물관을 활용하는 타문화해교육의 필요성에 대하여 논의하였다. 3장에서는 국립중앙박물관과 국립민속박물관에서 그동안 시행해왔던 다문화교육 프로그램을 검토하고, 이를 바탕으로 타문화이해교육 프로그램 개발에 있어서의 시사점을 도출하였다. 그리고 4장에서는 2, 3장의 검토결과를 바탕으로, 다문화교육관(원)에 적용하게 될 타문화이 해교육 프로그램 개발의 절차를 제안하고, 프로그램 개발 사례를 제시하였다. 타문화이해교육 프로그램 개발 방안을 탐색하고 제안하는 본 연구의 결과는 교원양 성대학교에 설치된 다문화교육관(원)에서 효율적으로 타문화이해교육 프로그램을 개발할 수 있는 참고 자료가 될 것이다.

The aims of this study is to explore development of educational program for other culture understanding associated museum which are provided for children. To this aims, objectives, content and method of the study are explained in the introduction. In the second chapter, multicultural education and museum education which are the theological background of this study are reviewed. The chapter discusses the necessity of education for other culture understanding in museums. In the third chapter, the status of multicultural education programs in the National Museum of Korea and National Folk Museum of Korea are explored. And the future directions of multicultural education program for multicultural education center are suggested. In the fourth chapter, based on the this study, new way of developing educational program for other culture understanding associated cyber museum are explored. The process and example of educational program for other culture understanding associated cyber museum for elementary students discussed here would be practical case for multicultural education center. It is hoped that by proposing ways of exploring educational program for other culture understanding this study can serve as an opportunity to effective develop multicultural education programs in multicultural education center.
