전문상담교사 양성을 위한 교육실습방안 연구

A Study on the Establishment of Student-Teaching Practice System for the Preparation of School Counselors

본 연구의 목적은 대학에서 교직과목으로 상담관련 과목을 이수하여 전문상담교사 자격증을 받게 되는 학생들의 교육실습을 위한 기초적인 방안을 제안하는데 있다. 그 방안으로 첫째, 학교상담의 전문성과 전문상담교사의 역할과 직무에 대한 선행연구를 분석하여 전문상담교사 교육실습의 영역과 목표를 제안하였다. 둘째, 전문상담교사 교육실습을 이끌어갈 인적 주체인 대학 실습지도 교수, 협력학교 실습지도 교사, 교육실습생의 역할을 제안하였다. 셋째, 우리나라 전문상담교사 교육실습의 정착과 발전을 위한 발전과제를 제시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 교직과목 이수를 통해 전문상담교사 2급 자격증을 받게 되는 학생이 2009년에 처음으로 배출되어 당장 내년부터 이들에 대한 교육실습을 실시해야 됨에도 불구하고 이에 대한 준비와 연구가 거의 없는 현실에서 교육실습 운영과 효율성 제고방안에 대한 논의를 촉발하고, 나아가 이러한 논의의 기초를 제공함으로써 이론과 실제를 겸비한 전문성 있는 전문상담교사의 양성에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

Counselor education programs prepare students to be effective in a profession. It is imperative that programs explicitly prepare students to be counselors first and counseling specialists second. The purpose of this paper is to suggest student-teaching practice system for the preparation of school counselors. The result from this study include as following : a) The specialty of school counseling and the roles of school counselors. b) The area and goals of student-teaching practice for school counselors. c) The role of university supervisors and site supervisors. d) The tasks for development of student-teaching practice system for the preparation of school counselors. The result of this study contribute to improve effectiveness of student-teaching practice system for the preparation of school counselors and to cultivate professional school counselors possessing theory and practice.
