교사 창의성의 의미와 과제

The task and meaning of teacher creativity

창의성에 대한 관심은 학교교육에서 중요한 위치를 담당하고 있는 교사에 대한 관심으로 확대되며 교사 창의성에 대한 연구물들이 속속 제시되고 있다. 그러나 이러한 연구물들은 교사 창의성에 대해 조금씩 상이한 견해를 가지고 있으며 교사교육 방향 역시 다르게 접근하고 있음을 알 수 있다. 따라서 연구자는 본고에서 교사 창의성의 의미와 신장 방안을 탐색하기 위해 1) 교사 창의성 연구의 동향은 어떠한가? 2) 교사 창의성의 의미는 무엇인가? 3) 교사 창의성 신장을 위한 교육은 어떻게 이루어질 수 있는가?에 대해 고찰하였다. 교사 창의성 연구의 동향은 교사의 인성특성에 관심을 두는 연구, 창의적 환경조성자로서 교사의 역할에 대한 연구, 교사의 창의적 수업에 관심을 두는 연구로 구분할 수 있었으며 교사 창의성은 ‘교사가 개인의 인성특성을 바탕으로 수업 상황에서 전문성을 발휘하는 것’이라고 정의하였다. 이러한 교사 창의성을 신장할 수 있는 교육은 교사 개인의 창의성 향상을 위한 교육과 아울러 수업 능력 향상 및 수업 평가 능력 향상을 위한 방향으로 전개되어야 할 것이다.

The rapid expansion on study of creativity is bringing about concern on teacher creativity. But the view of these studies on teacher creativity is different. The problems of this study are as follows. First, what\ s the recent research trend of teacher creativity? Second, what\ s the implementation of teacher creativity? Third, how can be improving the teacher creativity? It was divided into three points which are the view of personal characteristics of teacher, the view of teacher\ s role on creative environment and teacher\ s creative teaching. On the basis of reexamination of preceding study, teacher creativity is defined that it is display teacher\ s professional competency on teaching, which is on the basis of personal characteristics. The strategies of improvement on teacher creativity are nurturing teacher\ s creativity education and improvement of teaching skill, teaching evaluation.
