영재교육프로그램의 활용가치 증대를 위한 초등 일반학급 적용 효과 분석

An Analysis on the Application Effects of Elementary School General Class to increase the value for practical use of Gifted Education Programs

본 연구는 기존의 영재교육프로그램을 초등학교 일반학급 학생들에게 적용해 보기 위해 프로그램을 재구성하고, 적용에 따라 창의적 인성의 변화를 조사해 보고자 하였다. 프로그램 적용 전 실험집단과 통제집단의 진단평가 점수와 적용 전 창의적 인성검사 점수로 동질성을 확인하였으며 연구결과에 따른 결론은 다음과 같았다. 첫째, 미술교과와 과학교과의 교과목표와 세부목표에서 창의적 인성 함양의 가능성을 확인하고 단원별 창의적 인성 요인을 추출하였다. 둘째, 기존의 영재교육프로그램의 주제는 일반 정규 교육과정의 단원 주제와 학습 내용을 포함하고 있어 일반 학급의 적용이 가능한 것으로 나타나 창의적 인성의 하위 요인과 일반학급 학생들의 수준을 고려하여 미술중심의 과학융합 프로그램으로 재구성하였다. 셋째, 영재교육프로 그램을 적용한 실험집단은 호기심, 독립심, 위험감수, 심미성이 통계적으로 유의미 하게 향상된 것으로 나타났으나, 과제집착과 사고의 개방성의 향상에는 통계적으로 유의미한 효과가 없는 것으로 분석되었다. 반면 일반 정규교육과정에 준하는 수업을 실시한 통제집단은 창의적 인성의 유의미한 변화가 없는 것으로 나타났으나 사고의 개방성이 보통정도의 성향으로 통계적으로 유의미하게 향상된 것으로 분석되었다. 따라서 영재교육프로그램을 일반학급 학생들에게 제공함으로 잠재된 영재아를 발굴하고 일반학급 학생들의 창의적 인성을 함양하는데 좋은 기회가 될 수 있으며, 이와 더불어 영재교육프로그램의 재활용으로 경제적 가치도 고려되어질 수 있을 것이다.

The purpose of this study was to reconstruct existing gifted education program for application of gifted education program and to investigate the change of the students’ creative personality in general class of elementary school according to applying the reconstructed program. Two groups similarity was identified by creative personality score of before application and diagnostic assessment score. The conclusions according to the analysis are as follows. First, it was identified a possibility of the creative personality cultivation on the aims of the subject and details of art and science, and then it was extracting creative personality factor from textbook unit. Second, because the topic of existing gifted education program involve learning contents and unit topic of general curriculum, it was found that the possible application for general school class. So, it was modified and reconstructed for the grade and the level of students in general school class. Third, it has analyzed that the curiosity, independence, risk taking, and esthetics factor of experimental group students in was significantly improved more before application, but task commitment and openness of thoughts was not significantly effect. While, the creative personality factor’ change of control group students in was not significantly, but openness of thoughts was significantly improved to moderate propensity before application of general curriculum. Therefore, the application of the gifted education program to help to develop student’ creative personality of general class and to discover a potential talented person, In addition, economic value can be considered by recycling of the gifted education program.
