사고력 신장을 위한 초등수학 교과서 개발과 교수-학습방법에 관한 고찰

Perspectives on Developing Mathematics Textbooks and Teaching and Learning Methods Enhancing Students\ Mathematical Thinking in the Elementary Education

최근 개정 수학교육 교육과정이 고시되었다. 개정 초등수학 교육과정은 학생들에 게 세계화ㆍ정보화 시대에 부응하기 위한 수학적 경쟁력을 키워주기 위해서 만들 어졌다. 본 연구는 학생들의 수학적 사고력 신장을 위한 교과서 개발과 교수-학습 방법에 대해 고찰해보는데 목적이 있다. 첫째, 개정 수학과 교육과정의 특성을 사 고력 신장측면에서 검토하고 교과서 개발의 시사점을 살펴보았다. 둘째, 현재 개발 중인 초등수학 교과서(3ㆍ4학년)의 이론적 토대와 교수-학습방법을 개정 교육과정 에 비추어 검토하였다. 셋째, 교과서 개발에 대해 열린 발문과 등호에 관한 제안과 수학적 사고력 신장을 위한 교수-학습 전략을 논의했다.

This study explores the issues raised by the revised mathematics curriculum in elementary schools. The revised curriculum is designed to enhance math abilities in students to meet the different challenges of a global and information-based age. The study examines the development of textbooks and teaching-learning methods. First, it reviews the revised curriculum in respect to improving mathematical thinking abilities, and then analyzes the third and fourth grade textbooks under development focusing on teaching-learning methods reflecting the mathematics curriculum. Finally, it discusses teaching and learning strategies to improve cognitive thinking skills in students and makes suggestions in terms of teaching methods.
