화법교육에서 사회적 의사소통 기술의 개념과 내용의 수용 방안

사회적 의사소통 기술은 다른 사람과의 인간관계를 유지하는데 필요한 것으로서 개인 사이의 감정 및 의견을 효율적으로 의사소통 할 수 있는 기술을 의미한다. 이 의사소통 기술은 아동의 사회적 관계에 큰 영향을 끼칠 수 있는 화법 기술이지만 국어과의 화법교육에서는 연구가 많지 않은 분야이다. 최근 화법교육 분야에서 대화자 상호간의 원만한 인간관계의 유지와 사회적 갈등 해결에 대한 연구가 활발해지면서 이 사회적 의사소통 기술은 새로운 화법교육의 방향을 제시할 수 있는 대안으로 떠오르고 있다. 사회적 의사소통 기술은 친교적 화법의 기술이기 때문에 대인관계의 화법에 적절하고 구체적인 대화의 현장에서 능동적으로 대처할 수 있는 화법의 기술이라는 점에서 의의가 있다. 또 다른 사람에 대한 이해와 수용의 폭을 넓혀주고 협동적 태도 의식을 기르게 할 수 있다는 점에서 큰 의의가 있다. 사회적 의사소통 기술을 화법교육으로 수용하기 위한 방안으로는 대화전략으로 활용하는 방안, 태도의 교육내용으로 활용하는 방안, 다양한 연습활동 등으로 이용하는 방안이 있다. 이러한 방안으로 사회적 의사소통 기술이 화법교육에 이용이 된다면 화법교육의 폭과 넓이를 보다 확대할 수 있으리라 믿는다. 또한 화법교육이 단순한 말하기, 듣기 교육이 아니라 전인교육, 인성교육, 사회성 개발 교육으로 발전할 수 있을 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to explore educational possibilities of Social Communication Skill on the Speaking and Listening Education. For this purpose, It focuses on the concept and contents of Social Communication Skill and is investigated the way in which we apply them to the Speaking and Listening education. In this paper, I tried to re-conceptualized Social Communication Skill on the speaking and listening education. Social Communication Skill is a positive effects of a communication program for the developmental stage of elementary school students who experience failure in sympathizing with other people and expressing their emotion , and also to help those students better adapt themselves to their school life and therefore help grow untroubled. Finally, I suggest that Social Communication Skills can be used through communication strategic, instruction of an attitude, oral exercise for applying to Speaking and Listening education.
