국어 교사 효능감의 구성 요인 분석

The Study of Teacher Efficacy Constructs in Korean Language Arts

이 연구는 국어교사들의 교사 효능감을 탐색하여 구성 요인을 분석하고, 국어교사 효능감 요인의 수준이 성별, 경력별, 근무 학교별로 어떠한 차이가 있는지를 분석하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 전국적인 수준에서 국어교사 423명을 표집하고 국어교사 효능감에 관한 반응 자료를 수집하였다. 검사 도구는 OSTES(Ohio State Teacher Efficacy Scale)를 수정하여 사용하였다. 탐색적 요인 분석 결과, 국어교사 효능감의 구성 요인은 수업 관리 효능감, 학생 참여 효능감, 교수 전략 효능감으로 나타났다. 이 세 요인의 누적 설명 변량은 64.544%이며, 이 중 수업 관리 효능감은 47.826% 포인트, 학생 참여 효능감은 9.698% 포인트, 교수 전략 효능감은 7.020% 포인트였다. 국어교사의 성별에 따른 국어교사 효능감 요인의 수준은 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 모든 요인에 남자 국어교사가 통계적으로 더 높은 점수 수준을 보였다. 경력에 따른 효능감 요인의 수준에서도 차이가 일부 발견되었다. 경력에 따른 차이는 효능감 요인별로 차이가 있으나, 인접한 집단 사이보다는 이격한 집단 사이에서 차이가 발견되었다. 경력에 따른 분석에서는 경력 증가가 국어교사 효능감 요인의 수준의 증 가를 동반하는 현상이 관찰되었다. 이에 비해, 근무 학교에 따른 국어교사 효능감 수준 차이는 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 발견되지 않았다.

The aims of this paper is to find factors of teacher efficacy in korean language arts teacher and then to analysis with relevant variance. There are 423 teacher of korean language arts for this research. they located national wide, consist of male 116 and female 307. The teacher efficacy constructs in korean language arts consist of following three: efficacy in classroom management, efficacy in student engagement, efficacy instructional strategy. They have explanation capability of 64.544% to total variance of the efficacy. Teacher efficacy in korean language arts have difference of gender and education experience. The male teacher have more higher level than the female teacher in the teacher efficacy. It means that the male teacher can better plan the instructional contents and method of korean language arts and use the effective strategy in korean language arts classroom than the female teacher. And more experienced korean language arts teacher have more higher level of the teacher efficacy. It occur all constructs that are efficacy in classroom management, efficacy in student engagement, efficacy instructional strategy.
