초등학교 학생의 공동체의식과 학교생활 만족도 및 학교폭력 태도와의 관계 탐색

The Relationships among Community Consciousness, Satisfaction of School Life and Attitudes toward School Violence

본 연구는 최근에 일어나는 여러 가지 학교문제들을 공동체적 관점에서 접근하여야 한다는 필요성을 인식하고 초등학교 학생들을 대상으로 공동체의식과 학교생활 만족도 및 학교폭력 태도와의 관계를 탐색하였다. 연구 대상은 B광역시 5개 지역교육지원청 마다 각 한 개의 학교씩을 선정하여 초 등학생 262명을 표집하였다. 연구 결과, 공동체의식은 학교생활 만족도와 매우 높은 상관관계를 나타내었으며(.737), 공동체의식은 학교생활 만족도 변인에 대하여 약 63.8%의 설명 변량을 지니고 있었다. 반대로 공동체의식과 학교폭력 태도와는 어느 정도 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다(-.499). 공동체의식은 학교폭력 태도에 대하여 약 27.2%의 설명 변량을 나타내었다. 결론적으로 학생들의 공동체의식을 높임으로서 학교만족도를 제고할 수 있고, 향후 학교폭력에 대한 문제도 근본적으로 해결할 수 있다는 가능성을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships among community consciousness, satisfaction of school life and attitudes toward school violence. The subjects of this study were sampled of 262 student(mail 135, female 127) from 5th, 6th grade of five elementary school in Busan. The three types questionnaire used of this study were community consciousness questionnaire, satisfaction of school life questionnaire and attitudes toward school violence questionnaire. The major findings of this study are as follows: First, community consciousness had a positive corelation with satisfaction of school life(.737). It should be said that community consciousness had a stronger effect on support with satisfaction of school life. The satisfaction of school life had 63.8% explanation variance in regression analysis. Second, community consciousness had a negative corelation with attitudes toward school violence. The attitudes toward school violence had 26.0% explanation variance in regression analysis.
