사례기반학습이 인지적 문제해결력과 사회적 문제해결력에 미치는 영향

The effects of the blended case-based learning on cognitive problem-solving and social problem-solving

본 연구는 사례기반학습이 학습자의 인지적 문제해결력과 사회적 문제해결력에 미치는 영향을 검증한 것이다. 본 실험을 위해 서울 소재 K 대학교에서 교육공학개론을 수강하고 있는 대학생 70명이 통제집단과 실험집단으로 무선으로 표집되어 13주 동안 참여하였다. 통제집단은 사례기반학습없이 일반적인 강의식 교육공학개론 수업에 참여하였고 실험집단에 속한 피험자는 강의식 교육공학개론 수업과 더불어 3-5명의 소집단으로 무선 할당되어 사례 한 개당 2주씩 총 6개의 블렌디드 사례기반학습에 13주 동안 참여하였다. 측정도구로는 인지적 및 사회적 문제해결력 측정도구가 사용되었다. 인지적 문제해결력 측정에는 주어진 사례를 읽고 문제분석과 목표 설정, 해결책 산출, 최종 해결책 결정과 관련된 주관식문제였으며, 적합성, 명확성, 논리성, 창의성, 분석성, 효과성 등 6개의 채점 준거가 적용되었다. 사회적 문제해결력 측정에는 D zurilla & Nezu(1990)의 도구 중 본 연구와 관련된 하위요소인 문제 규정, 대안산출, 의사결정을 선정하여 수정 및 보완하여 사용하였다. 연구결과에 따르면 블렌디드 사례기반학습이 인지적 문제해결력과 사회적 문제해결력 향상에 유의한 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 블렌디드 사례기반학습을 학교나 기업교육 현장에 적용할 수 있는 구체적인 모형을 제시했다는데 의의가 있다.

This current research is to investigate the effects of blended case-based learning on cognitive and social problem-solving. For the experiment, 34 students from K university in Seoul were participated in six case-based learning continued for two weeks each by randomly assigned to a group of three to five members for 13 weeks. The blended case-based learning followed the instructional model of reading a given case, analyzing and discussing the given case, analyzing problems and establishing goals, generating various solutions, monitoring and evaluating group performances, and deciding the final solutions for 13 weeks. For the research instrument, the six evaluation criteria of fitness, accuracy, logic, creativity, analytics, and effectiveness were applied to measure the cognitive problem-solving. Three sub-components of problem definition, solution generation, and decision-making of SPSI(Social Problem-Solving Inventory) were used to measure the social problem-solving after revising properly for the current research. According to the research results, blended case-based learning significantly affects cognitive and social problem-solving. The current research results is meaningful to provide the specific instructional model and case how to apply the blended case-based learning for school and corporate educational settings.
