재즈 확산을 위한 라디오재즈프로그램의 발전방안

본 연구는 라디오재즈프로그램에 대한 국내 재즈 산업 관계자들의 평가를 통해 재즈 확산을 위한 라디오재즈프로그램의 발전방안을 제시하고자 한다. 이에 본 연구는 국내 유일의 라디오 데일리 재즈프로그램인 CBS FM ｢올 댓 재즈｣의 편성에 대해 재즈 산업 관계자들을 대상으로 표적집단면접(focus group interview)을 실시하고, 인터뷰 내용의 분석을 토대로 재즈 확산을 위한 라디오재즈프로그램의 발전방안을 제시하려고 한다. 본 연구가 제시하는 라디오재즈프로그램의 발전 방안은 다음과 같다. 먼저 ‘가이드 라인’ 위상의 강화방안으로, 현행 ｢올 댓 재즈｣의 전문성이 제고될 필요가 있으며, 이를 위해서는 진행자(DJ)와 선곡의 전문성 강화가 필요하다. 선곡은 재즈 클래식부터 현재 관심을 얻는 최신 재즈 연주까지 포괄하는 다양성을 통해 재즈 입문자와 마니아 모두를 만족시킬 수 있는 선곡이어야 한다. 수용자와의 상호 작용 강화방안으로는 지속 가능한 청취자 형성을 위해서 실시간 방송을 통한 상호작용 역량을 강화시켜야 한다. 특히 SNS, 모바일 서비스를 활용한 실시간 커뮤니케이션을 통한 상호작용을 강화시켜야한다. 또한 데일리 기본 편성과는 별도로, 재즈 초심자와 마니아를 위한 재즈 교육 프로그램, 재즈 뮤지션 인터뷰, 공개 방송, 신인 뮤지션을 위한 스튜디오 라이브 실황 등 정기적인 특집 기획을 통해 수용자의 재즈관심확산에 기여해야 한다.

The study suggests radio jazz program’s development plan to diffuse jazz through evaluations about a radio jazz program by people related to national jazz industry. Therefore the study conducted a focus group interview with people related to jazz industry about organization of CBS FM’s ｢All that Jazz?｣ which is the only radio daily jazz program in order to suggest radio jazz program’s development plan based on the interview analysis. The radio jazz program’s development plan that the study suggests is like following. First, it enhances ‘guideline’ status. Current professionalism of ｢All that Jazz｣ needs to be improved and in order for it, it needs to improve professionalism of DJ and song selection. Selection should be diverse and including from jazz classic to the newest jazz to satisfy both people who just enter the jazz and jazz enthusiasts. In order to form sustainable listeners, it enhances communications through realtime broadcasting service. Especially it enhances communications through realtime communication such as SNS and mobile service. Also it should contribute to diffusing the consumer’s interest in jazz through regular special projects such as jazz education programs for the jazz entry and enthusiasts, jazz musician interview, open broadcast, realtime studio for new musicians. apart from the daily basic organization.
