The great variation of isoperoxidase band patterns in leaves and seedlings of R. pseudoacacia was observed among diploids and tetraploids, and within tetraploid individuals. There was no relation among the five phenotype in the isozyme band patterns of tetraploid. On the other hand, the closed fertilization might not be always brought out in R. pseudoacacia by judging from the variation of isoperoxidase banding patterns on the zymogram of the progenies of a parent.
