Utilizing the male-sterility of radish, Uisung banchung, investigations were made to test the heterosis in the F₁seed. Gene analysis of some pollen parents were also made. 1. Hybrid seeds of all combinations were about 30% higher in yield as compared with the parents. 2. It was assumed that the genotypes of pollen parents were Nmsms in Ulsan Jailai and Seoul bommoo. In case of Jinju daipyong the geuotype of nJ -9 was Nmsms and nJ-10 was Nmsms.
