The genetics of four peroxidase isozyme loci (Ρχ₁H, Ρχ₂Κ, Ρχ₃Μ, Ρχ₄Ν) in Pinus densiflora were studied by starch gel electrophoresis. Two alleles, active and unactive, were found at each locus. But Ρχ₂Κ was found to be operating two alleles Ρχκ₂ (active) and Ρχο₂ (unactive) by regulating two dominant alleles R/r. Data are presented demonstrating that the Ρχ₃Μ and Ρχ₄Ν are located in the same linkage group and between Ρχ₁H and Ρχ₄Ν, Ρχ₂Κ and Ρχ₃Μ, Ρχ₂Κ and Ρχ₄Ν are related to repulsion.
