Three population of rye (Secale cereale) in Yechon area, Kyungsang Puk-do were investigated cytologically. Frequency of B-chromosomes in rye in Jangsong-ri 1, Jangsong-ri 2 and Sinpoong-ri were found to be 16%, 26% and 46.9% respectively. The present result together with the data published in 1965 shows that frequency of rye with B-chromosomes in Yechon-gun was found to be widely ranged, from 16% to 73.3%.
