Diallel analysis with F₁ data and frequency distribution chart in F₂ show that 9 semi-dwarf typed parents used have same major gene for calm length, but differences of culm length between 9 parents are mainly controlled by the additive factor. The parent-offspring heritability for culm length is very high.
