On the mutant selection for three grain characters in rice

The application of CBB method allowed rapid and reproducible determination of rice protein content, but the protein quantity requires transformation according to their relationship to Kjeldahl determination. The sodium azide treated Toyonishiki#6 progenies allowed the selection of some protein mutants through the application of CBB method, and waxy type and phenol positive mutants. These mutants were recessive in their recovery nature.
