Present researches were carried out to investigate the fertilizing percentage, fertilizing phenomenon and proembryo formation in the intercrossing among Mokpo-MS, Naehanyuchae, and Mokpo-MS line(MF) in rape. The results obtained were as follows; 1. The fertilizing percentages of Naehanyuchae x Naehanyuchae, Mokpo-MSx Naehanyuchae, Naehanyuchae x Mokpo-MS line(MF),Mokpo-MS x Mokpo-MS line(MF) were 90, 50, 60, and 45. 2. In Naehanyuchae x Naehanyuchae, the pollens germinated on stigmatic tissue at 1 hour and penetrated into microphyle at 10 hours and the two male nuclei fertilized with the polar nuclei at 24 hours and with the egg cell at 36 hours after pollination. 3. In Mokpo-MS x Mokpo-MS line(MF), the pollens germinated on stigmatic tissue at 20-48 hours and the two male nuclei fertilized with the polar nuclei at 30-48 hours and with egg cell at 48-60 hours after pollination, but this fertilizing phenomenon was not equal and was very difficult for observation. 4. In Mokpo-MS x Naehanyuchae and Naehanyuchae x Mokpo-Ms line, the fertilizing time was similar each other and those were middle of Mokpo-MS x Mokpo-MS line(MF) and Naehanyuchae x Naehanyuchae.
