IPA를 활용한 유아사회성 촉진전략에 대한 예비유아교사의 인식분석

Analysis of Early Childhood Pre-service Teachers’ Perceptions on the Social Interaction Strategies Using an Importance-Performance Analysis(IPA)

본 연구의 목적은 유아사회성 촉진 전략에 대한 예비유아교사의 인식을 수용도와 실제적용가능성으로 나누어 조사하고 차이를 분석해봄으로써 인식 간 격차를 줄이 고 예비유아교사들의 사회성 촉진전략의 실행에 도움을 줄 수 있는 방안을 모색하 는데 있다. 이를 위해 예비유아교사 154명을 대상으로 환경구성전략, 일상활동전략, 강화활동전략으로 구성된 유아사회성 촉진전략에 대한 인식을 설문조사하였다. 연 구결과, 첫째, 예비유아교사의 인식은 유아사회성 촉진전략 전체, 그리고 환경구성 전략, 일상활동전략, 강화활동전략에 대해 수용할만하며 실행가능하다고 인식하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 세 종류의 전략에 대한 인식은 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 나 타냈는데 유아사회성 촉진전략을 수용가능하다고 판단한 데 비해 실제적용가능성에 대해서는 낮게 평가하고 있었다. 둘째, 수용도-실제적용가능성 분석(IPA) 결과, 환 경구성전략은 실행가능성이 높은 영역인 1사분면과 노력을 집중해야 할 영역인 4사 분면에, 일상활동전략은 대부분 실행가능성이 높은 영역인 1사분면에 속해 있었다. 반면 강화활동전략은 수용도와 실제적용가능성이 모두 낮다고 평가되는 3사분면에 속해 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 유아 사회성 촉진을 위해서는 예비교사 양성 교육과정에서 개별 유아의 필요에 맞는 구조화된 개입전략인 강화활동전략의 필요성에 대한 교육이 필요하며 사회성 촉진전략의 현장적용가능성을 높일 수 있는 방안을 모색해야 함을 시사한다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the perception of pre-service early childhood on acceptability and feasibility of social interaction strategies. Also, the differences between acceptability and feasibility were investigated in order to suggest ideas to implement social interaction strategies. 154 early childhood pre-service teachers completed SIPPY questionnaire and the results were analyzed. Results showed that there was a statistically significant difference between acceptability and feasibility regarding environmental, naturalistic and intensive strategies. Participants perceived social interaction strategies are more acceptable than feasible. Based on analysis of IPA on acceptability-feasibility, environment strategies are located in the first quadrant with higher possibility and the fourth quadrant where teachers perceived that they need to make efforts. Naturalistic strategies are in the first quadrant as well. However, intensive strategies are located in the third quadrant with lower possibility. Implications for practices were discussed to suggest pre-service education on intensive strategies.
