4차 산업혁명 시대의 인간상과 누리과정 목표와의 연관성

Relationship between Competencies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and Purpose of Nuri Curriculum in Early Childhood Education

이 연구는 4차 산업혁명 시대에 요구되는 인간상에 대해 다각적 측면에서 살펴보고, 이를 누리과정의 교육 목표와 비교하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 이 연구는 4차 산업혁명의 기원 및 의미를 살펴보고, 4차 산업혁명 시대에 필요한 핵심 능력을 도출하고, 이 시대가 야기할 부정적 현상을 살펴보았다. 그리고 4차 산업혁명 시대에 필요한 다양한 핵심 능력과 문제들이 유아교육의 누리과정에서 어떻게 다루어지는가를 살폈다. 결론적으로 4차 산업혁명 시대에 강조되는 창의성, 문제해결력 등의 핵심 능력과 이 시대에 야기될 불평등과 같은 문제점들은 유아교육에서 오래전부터 강조되고 다루어져 오던 것임을 밝혔다. 이에 유아교육계는 4차 산업혁명에 대한 두려움에서 벗어나 지금껏 행하여 오던 대로 4차 산업혁명을 맞이하면 될 것임을 밝혔다.

This study attempted to explore core competencies required for and problems emerged from the fourth industrial revolution and compare this exploration with Nuri curriculum of early childhood education. To find the relationship, this study examined the origin and the meaning, core competencies and problems of the fourth industrial revolution, then how these characteristics are handled in Nuri curriculum. Consequently, the results showed that core competencies such as creativity, critical thinking and problems of economic inequality of the fourth industrial revolution have been highlighted and handled in the field of early childhood education. This means that people in the field of early childhood education should escape from fear of and welcome the fourth industrial revolution.
