多變量에 依한 고추 品種群 分類의 3가지 方法間 比較

Comparison of varietal classification by three multivariate methods in pepper

Fifty one varieties of perpper(Capsicum annuum L.) including native of Korea and introduced varieties were classificed based on 13 characters measured by Mahalanobis’s D²principal component score distance(PCA) and factor score distance. PCA score distance method was proved to be the most suitable one when compared with the coefficient of variation between intra-groups. Fifty one varities were classified into 12 varietal groups based on PCA score distance even though seven varieties were not able to be classified. Total variation could be explained by 48, 76, and 90% with second, fifth and seventh principal components, respectively and varimax rotation of the factor loading indicated specific characters each components.
