Peculiar F₁, individual derived from the crossing of cultivated species of P. albiflora and wild species of P. albiflora and triploid from F₁, seed were investigated on the size of chromosome, arm ratios and presence of satellite chromosome. On the size, the chromosmes of cultivated species of P. albiflora are ranged from 7.8 to 14.9, F₁ No.1 which is green and havily serrated in the edge of a white patal are 7.0 to 10.7μ, F₁ No.2 which is red and heavily serrated in the edge of a white petal are 7.6 to 10.7Fμ, and triploid from F₁ seed are 7.2 to 10.2μ, 7.1 to 10.6μ and 7.2 to 11.2μ. The subterminal, less than 33% of arm ratio exsist in F₁ chromosome of cultivated species, wild species, F₁ and triploid, and A-D chromosomes are either submedian. The cultivated species has SAT-chromosome in a single of E chromosome, and F₁ No.1 in a pair of E chromosome, while both F₁ No.2 and triploid have no SAT-chromosome. It is supposed that pollinated with a gamete(n=10), either male or famale of parents of F₁ that is pink and ptted in petals become a triploid.
