배추×무우의 胚珠培養에 의한 屬間雜種 獲得

Obtaining intergeneric hybrid plant between brassica campestris and raphanus sativus through young ovule culture

Around 10 days old immature ovules of heading Chinese cabbage, Brassica campestris ssp. pekinensis, crossed with large rooting radish, Raphanus sativus, were cultured on the modified B₅ medium supplimented with 0.1mg/ℓ 2.4-D or 0.1mg/ℓ BAP. A part of ovules of both treatments were kept in the dark condition for 7 days at the beginning stage of culture and then maintained in the 16 hours illuminated condition like the others. Plants were induced from each of 4 treatments and a total of 102 plants equivalent to 15.1% were obtained. Slightly more plants were produced from the 2.4-D medium and the 24hrs. dark treatemnt for 7 days. Fifteen of 55 F₁ plants treated with colchicine in the nursery stage and 7 of 45 F₁ plants grown without the colchicine treatment produced F₂ seeds from self flower pollination. A total of 170 of 332 F₂ seeds equivalent to 51.7% were germinated and they grown vigourously without chlorosis on the leaf.
