Old references to agriculture in Korea Ⅸ. Kinds of forest trees(1614~1909)

More than 230 kinds of old books concerned with agriculture were published during of Chosun-dynasty(Yi-dynasty) in Korea. 118 kinds of trees, including useful trees for fiber, dying, likes, side dishes, medicine, fruit trees, ornamental trees, and forest trees, were described in 23 kinds of old books among those 230 kinds of old books concerned with agriculture published from 1614 to 1909. 41 kinds of forest trees except fiber trees, dying use trees, medicinal trees, fruit trees, ornamental trees and other special trees, were described and illustrated their characteristics, productions, and usages in old books, namely Saeckyung (1676), Saeckyung-Jungjip(1688~1689), Sanlimkyungje(1700 ?), Jungbo-Sanlimkyungje(1766), Kosasinseou(1771), Bonsa(1787), Haedongnongseou(1798~1799), Hyangpoji(1825), Nongjunghoeyo(1830), Yimyonkyungjeji(1842~1845), and Choesin-Sanlimhak(1909), etc.
