決明 品種 主要形質의 量的遺傳 分析

Quantitative genetic analysis of major agronomic characters in cassia tora L.

In order to obtain the genetic information on the quantitative characters of Cassia tora L. which would be needed to improve selection efficiency for breeding high yielding genotype, twenty one varieties of Cassia tora L. collected in Korea were grown and variations of several important characters were observed. Heritability of each observed character, phenotypic and genotypic correlations among the characters, and contribution of each yield component on grain yield through path coefficient analysis were estimated. Both stem diameter and number of grains per pod showed not only high heritability but also highly significant phenotypic and genotypic correlation with grain yield, and hence it was desirable to select plants with thicker stem and higher number of grains per pod to raise grain yield of Cassia tora L. In addition, number of grains per pod and 1000 grains weight were proved to be the most influential variables on the variability of grain yield by path coefficient analysis. Since here showed the high heritability of number of grains per pod, selection of plants with higher number of grains per pod would be more efficient for breeding high yielding genotype.
