창의성 신장을 위한 독서 교육 활동의 문제점과 해결 방안

Study on the problem and solution of reading instructional activity for developing student s creativity

본 연구에서는 창의적 체험 활동을 강조하는 2009 개정 교육과정에 따라 현재 초 등학교에서 실천되고 있는 독서 교육 활동의 문제점을 분석하고, 이를 해결하기 위 한 몇 가지 방안을 제안하였다. 본 연구는 교육과학기술부가 지정한 독서 연구학교의 연구 보고서와, J도에 위치 한 30개 초등학교의 독서 교육 활동 프로그램을 분석 대상으로 삼았다. 분석 결과, 현재 독서 교육 활동의 문제점은 크게 세 가지로 나타났다. 첫째, 독서의 외재적 동 기만을 강조함으로써 창의적 사고 ‘성향’을 소홀히 다루고 있다. 둘째, 책 내용에 대 한 심층적인 의미 구성 과정을 생략함으로써 학생의 창의적 이해 과정을 소홀히 다 루고 있다. 셋째, 독서 교육 활동에서 상향식 접근 방식만을 강조함으로써 분절적인 활동이 단순하게 반복되고 있다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위한 방안으로 본 연구에서는 첫째, 독서 교육 활동에 서 내재적 읽기 동기 강화하기, 둘째, 독서 교육 활동과 읽기 교육 간의 연계 강화하 기, 셋째, 독서 교육 활동에서 하향식 접근 강화하기 등을 제안하였다.

The purpose of this study is to explore the problems of reading instruction activity for developing student s creativity, and to propose a few of solutions. I analyzed the reading program reports and plans which is to be recoded how to govern reading instruction for developing student s creativity in elementary school. The problems of reading programs to improve creativity is as follows. First, because the external reading motivation is emphasized, we are indifferent to the inclination of creativity. Second, we are not concerned of the creative meaning construction when students read a book. Third, students repeat simple learning activities after reading a book. To solve theses problems, initially, it is important to emphasize the internal reading motivation. Second, it is need that between reading activity and reading instruction activity are connected closely. Third, it is need to approach the top-down reading activity instruction.
