PERSPECTIVES ON ENTREPRENEURSHIP EDUCATION AND RESEARCH IN THE 21st CENTURY

이 논문의 목적은 21세기에 있어서 앙트르프르너십의 전망을 검토하는 것이다. 이런 목적으로 이 논문은 먼저 앙트르프르너십의 교육과 연구에 대하여 살펴보았다. 이 연구의 결과에 따르면 20세기말의 20년 동안에 앙트르프르너십의 교육과 연구는 극적인 성장을 보였다. 그리고 이러한 추세는 미래에도 상당기간 동안 지속될 것으로 전망된다. 앙트르프르너십은 경제적인 문제뿐만 아니라 사회적 문제를 해결하는 데도 중요하므로, 21세기에는 그것의 발전 동향과 활용에 대하여 깊은 관심을 기울여야 하며, 그것을 촉진하기 위한 투자도 증대해야 할 것으로 보인다.

The purpose of this article is to examine perspectives on entrepreneurship education and research in the 21st century. The results of this study indicate that education and research on entrepreneurship have grown dramatically during last decades notably in the US. The growth trend is expected to continue for the coming 20 years. Since entrepreneurship is so important not only for economic progress but also for solving social problems and application to problem solving, keen attention to its development and investment for its promotion appear to be indispensible.
