Present experiments were attempted to examine in vitro multiplication through callus culture from Aconitum carmichaeli Debx. Shoot formation from bud culture was established successfully on Gamborg et al. medium supplemented with 0.1㎎/ℓ NAA and 0.5㎎/ℓ BA. Rooting from proliferated shoots was about 20% on B5 medium supplemented with 1.5㎎/ℓ IBA. Callus formation from leaf segment culture was 33% on B5 medium containing 10㎎/ℓ NAA and 5㎎/ℓ BA, and plant regeneration from callus was about 20% on B5 media supplemented with 0.1㎎/ℓ NAA and 0.5㎎/ℓ BA.
