초기 쓰기에 대한 최근 연구 동향과 과제

Recent trend of Research on beginning writing and future tasks

본 연구는 초기 쓰기의 연구 동향을 알아보기 위하여 2000년부터 2011년까지 총 12년간 국내ㆍ외에서 발행된 관련 논문 121편을 선정하여 분석하였다. 그 결과 국내ㆍ외 모두 최근 6년간 초기 쓰기와 관련된 연구의 성과가 매우 부진 했다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 그러나 국외의 경우에는 국내에 비해 약 2배의 연구 성과 를 가지고 있었고 최근 들어 초기 쓰기에 대한 연구가 더욱 빈번해져서 2011년에는 가장 풍성한 연구 성과가 나타났다. 반면 국내의 경우에는 최근으로 갈수록 연구 성 과가 더욱 줄어들어 2011년에는 단 한 편의 연구 성과도 없었다. 다음으로 초기 쓰기 와 관련된 논문의 주제 경향을 분석한 결과 국내ㆍ외 모두 교수법과 필자의 쓰기 활동 및 능력에 관한 연구를 가장 많이 진행하였다. 마지막으로 국내ㆍ외의 연구 방 법론적 경향에 대해 살펴보면 분석 결과 국외에서는 질적 연구가 가장 많고 다음으 로 양적 연구가 많은 반면, 국내에서는 양적 연구가 압도적으로 많았고 질적 연구 방 법을 활용한 논문이 상대적으로 매우 적었다.

The purpose of the study is to analyze recent trend of research on beginning writing and to suggest the future study tasks. For this study Domestic and foreign 121 articles were analyzed through 12 professional journals about recent beginning writing from 2000 to 2011. They were categorized as three areas according to the criteria of trend of the amount of research and research topic and method of study. The major findings of this study were as follows: First, the amounts of domestic research on beginning writing were less than that in foreign countries. Second, the major research topics on beginning writing were about teaching method and study on Children s author in korea and foreign nations. Third, looking at the method of study, the most frequently used were quantitative research in korea but qualitative research were the most commonly used in foreign nations. Future tasks on beginning writing are the study of children s author and home literacy environment and teacher education. And in addition, research over the media to write about is also needed.
