벼 品種 N22와 ARC10239의 흰등멸구에 대한 抵抗性 遺傳

The inheritance of resistance to whitebacked planthopper (Sogatella furcifera Horvath : WBPH) at the seedling stage in resistant rice varieties N22 and ARC10239, which was known to carry Wph-1 and Wph-2 gene respectively, were examined by segregating mode of early generations. The F₁s of two combinations of ARC10239×Tongilchal and N22×Toingilchal showed tolerance reaction at the bulk seedling test and both crosses exhibited 3R : 1S segregations in F₂ and 1R : 2R/S : 1S in F₃ lines. This indicates that the tolerance of these varieties to WBPH is governed by single dominant gene. The antibiosis reaction of ARC10239 was also indentified as single gene control in the individual seedling tests of F₁ and F₂ of ARC10239×Tongilcahl. Among individuals of F₂ and BC₅ F₃ in the cross, there were some recombinants which exhibited antibiosis without host tolerance and host tolerance without antibiosis. This fact indicates that the resistance of ARC10239 would be governed by two seperate genes such as tolerance(T) and antibiosis(Ant). The antibiosis gene of ARC10239 seemed to be linked with tolerance gene as closely as 28~30% of recombination value in F₂.
